Disaster Management
Disaster Management means a Natural Calamity which causes terrible loss or damage. It cannot be stopped but we can prevent through proper Management.
Disaster could be any form either natural or man-made. Natural disasters are earthquakes, floods, tsunamis, volcano. Best examples Man-made disasters are bomb blasting and Bhopal Gas leakages tragedy.
There is a disaster cycle, and we have four steps to manage disasters.
- Prevention- Understanding the seriousness of disaster and its impact.
- Preparedness- Planning and Evacuation.
- Response – Provide relief to the victims.
- Recovery – Provide aid and help them to get back to normal life.
I would like to share with you two things one is (NDMA) which means to NATIONAL DISASTER MANGEMENT ATHORITY OF INDIA and another thing is during any disaster don’t stand near to old building because they might not have more strength it can fall on you so be in a home safely during disaster.
Hence the effective management during disaster can save loss of humans being and materials.
